How To Use The Color Coding System
With Race Numbers For Age Group Identification & Scoring

HOW TO ORDER
Rainbow stickers come in sheets of
50 square and 20 oval stickers. They are sold 2 ways:

• If purchased in conjunction with Rainbow Race numbers, just provide our salesperson with your age groups. Utilizing national norms, we will provide a sufficient number of stickers for each age group. We typically provide 150% more stickers than numbers ordered to take into account any discrepancies. Cost is $.015 x amount of numbers ordered. Also comes with instructions and age group award sheets.
• If purchased separately, color coding is sold in full sheets only. Square stickers (male) are sheets of 50 per color @ $1.00 per sheet; oval (female) are sheets of 20 per color @ $.40 per sheet.

THE ''PULL TAG'' / ''COLOR CODING'' SCORING SYSTEM & HOW IT WORKS

This system uses the detachable lower portion of the race number (pull tag) to establish overall place of each finisher.
Prior to the event, each participant
is assigned and issued a race number. Typically, the participant's name, address, age and gender information is listed on the pull tag of
each race number.
During the event, each participant wears his or her assigned race number. As runners cross the finish line, they are timed and directed into a finish chute. Each finisher tears off his or her race number's pull tag and hands it in to a tag collection team at
the end of the chute. The tags are spindled on stringers in order of finish. In results processing and age group awards search, the times from the finish line timing machine tape are matched to the collected pull tags. Age group winners are determined by going through each stringer of collected tags and finding the top finishers in each age group.
